Product description：

INCONEL 718 has excellent corrosion resistance at high and low temperatures and good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. Alloy 718 has good performance in hostile environments containirng H2S,C02,chlorides,suifides and free sulfur at selected temperatures.Alloy 718 is commonly used for cryogenic storage tanks,downhole shafts and wellhead parts.

Metallographic structure

nickel alloy 718 is austenitic structure, and the Y “phase formed after precipitation hardening gives it excellent mechanical properties. The delta phase formed at the grain boundary during heat treatment gives it the best plasticity

Corrosion resistance

In both high and low temperature environments, 718 alloy has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting. 718 alloys are particularly resistant to oxidation at high temperatures.
